We offer several convenient ways to place your order:


Order Online (Recommended): Our user-friendly online store allows you to browse our selections and place your orders from the comfort of your studio. Welcome to the fastest and easiest way to shop!

Order by Phone: Call us at (516) 719-0996 to speak with a helpful representative who will assist you with your order.

Order by Mail or Fax: Order forms are available to download online. Please carefully double-check your order before mailing or faxing it back to Glamour Costumes to ensure that all necessary information is included. We recommend keeping a copy for your own reference.


Important Sizing Information:


Refer to Our Size Chart: Our Recital and Competition line each have their own size chart, as sizes between the lines differ. Competition costumes typically run smaller in size to establish a more streamlined look. To ensure a perfect fit, please use our size chart as a guide before placing your order. We strongly advise against guessing or assuming the sizing.


Early Ordering is Key:


● Approximate Shipping Dates: Due to the intricate handcrafting of our Competition costumes, the completion of your order may take up to 12 to 16 weeks. Shipping timelines are estimated, and may vary for each costume style. We strongly recommend placing your order(s) as early as possible, so that your costume(s) may arrive within the date of your performance. Estimated ship dates for the Recital line are available online.


Note: The estimated ship date for your entire order is based on the arrival of backordered items from our Competition line. We suggest placing separate orders for Recital and Clearance items in order for in-stock items to ship promptly, thus minimizing potential delivery delays.

 

● Providing an accurate and precise "Date Needed" is crucial when placing your order, as it increases the eligibility for your order to arrive on time. This information, accompanied by item availability, assists us in determining your estimated shipping date.

● Order Communication: After you place your order, you will receive a confirmation email, followed by another separate email regarding your estimated ship date. Upon receiving these emails, carefully review the estimated ship date and the order details, as the information within the emails may highlight any variations concerning specific item availability. Contact us immediately if you notice any discrepancies.

Please note: The estimated ship date is an approximation. While we strive for on-time delivery, unforeseen circumstances may occasionally cause slight delays. We will keep you updated throughout the process of your order.

● In-Stock Items: If your entire order consists of in-stock items, then it will ship as soon as it is processed.


PAYMENTS


We offer a variety of secure payment methods to accommodate your needs:


● Full payment is required for all orders under $1,000.

● All orders over $1,000 have the option of either paid in full, or a 50% deposit at the time the order is placed.

Full Payment Before Shipping: All remaining balances must be paid in full before your order can ship.

Recommended Payment Timing: To avoid any delays, we recommend finalizing your payment (full balance or remaining balance) 2 to 3 weeks before your estimated ship date.

Major Credit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express

● Checks are made out to “Glamour Costumes”.

Business Check Processing: We accept business checks; however, please allow up to 10 business days for your check to process. Factor this processing time into your delivery date calculations.

● $40 fee for checks returned unpaid by your bank.

Credit Cards: Notify your credit card company ahead of time if there are purchasing limits before placing your order.

Purchase Orders for Schools: We exclusively accept purchase orders from educational institutions including schools, colleges, and universities. Governmental organizations and recreation departments must provide a valid purchase order number signed by the school’s financial department. All purchase

orders must be settled in full before the order is shipped. Orders approximately take 8 to 16 weeks to ship.

No COD Policy: We do not offer Cash on Delivery (COD) services.

Understanding the Hand-Crafted Quality of our Competition Line

The Beauty of Handmade:


At Glamour Costumes, we take pride in creating beautiful, hand-crafted costumes. While this process allows for unique and stunning results, it is important to understand the inherent characteristics of handmade items:


Slight Imperfections: Due to the intricate details and hand-crafted nature of our costumes, there may be occasional minor imperfections or irregularities, such as loose beads or stones. These minor flaws should not be considered as damage. In order to address such issues, we provide extra beads stones upon request.


Color and Other Variations: The detailed dyeing process used for our fabrics can sometimes result in slight color variations. Additionally, due to the handcrafted nature of our costumes, variations may also occur in the positioning of stones, appliqué, and other embellishments. These variations are not considered defects, but rather a natural part of the handcrafted aesthetic, adding to the unique character of each costume.

Footwear Safety: For your safety, please dress in appropriate footwear when wearing our costumes.


Important Information Regarding Returns

Final Sale:


Glamour Costumes offers made-to-order costumes that are specifically designed for dance teams and studios. For this reason, all sales are final, and we will not accept returns.

Please review your order details carefully, especially sizing and color selections, before checkout. Our friendly customer service team is happy to answer any questions you may have to provide a perfect fit!

Size Exchange Information

 

Need a Different Size? We Can Help!


Glamour Costumes offers size exchanges for most costume styles (excluding Super Clearance and Custom Costumes) within specific guidelines.


Exchange Availability: Size exchanges are processed as new orders and are subject to availability. In-stock items will be shipped promptly, while out-of-stock items may require additional time to reorder.

Exchange for Size Only: Exchanges are only available for a different size within the same style. No style changes are allowed.

Call to Schedule: To initiate a size exchange, you must call us. Do not place a new online order, as you may not be eligible for receiving credit. Items sent back without prior authorization will be rejected.

Exchange Deadline: Size exchanges must be made within 10 business days from the date of the shipment. This deadline is marked on your invoice. No exceptions will be made.



How to Return for Size Exchange:


Include Return Authorization Number (RAN): Clearly mark your RAN (provided by our customer service) on the outside of the return box. Print out the exchange form and place it inside the return box along with the costumes you are exchanging to avoid delays or misplacements.

Exchange Procedure: Upon receiving your RAN, you have 7 days to ship back the original item. If the size replacement is in stock, it will be promptly shipped to you. This method of exchange is recommended as it only requires payment for shipping and exchange fees, without any additional costume charges.

Expedited Exchange: To expedite your exchange, you can prepay for the new costume size price, and receive Glamour Credit (credit applicable for up to one year) for the original costume size once it is received on our end. However, the original item must be shipped back within 7 days of receiving the RA number to receive full Glamour Credit. Items returned after 14 days, but within the timeframe of 30 days will be subject to a restocking fee. Returns received after 30 days of the exchange deadline will be rejected and returned to you at your expense.

Unacceptable Returns: We cannot accept exchanges for items that are worn, damaged, altered, have missing accessories, and/or have names written on the tags. These items will not be refunded or credited, and customers will be responsible for return shipping. Packages without a RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER will NOT be accepted. These items will be returned at the customer’s expense.



Size Exchange Fees and Shipping Cost


● A $5 exchange fee applies to each item exchanged, plus standard shipping costs.

Canceling or Revising an Order



Changes to Your Order:


Cancellations: Once an order is received, we are unable to cancel it. However, you have up to 3 business days to remove the incorrect items ordered. Deleted items from your order will not be refunded, but will be credited to your Glamour account.

Adding Items: We cannot add items to an existing order. If you require additional items, please place a new order. This takes into account the current shipping dates and applicable shipping charges.


Glamour Credit Information

● Exchanges or overpayments take up to 15 business days to process, and will be shown as Glamour Credit on your account to apply on future orders.

● Glamour Credit is valid for up to one year from the date of issue.

● Call to apply your Glamour Credit to your new order.


Reporting Defective or Missing Items

We strive for accuracy!


Missing Items or Accessories: We carefully inspect orders before packaging to retain accuracy. If you discover any missing items or accessories, please inform us as soon as you receive your package. Your prompt notification will allow us to resolve any discrepancies.

Defective Items: (See our “Handcrafted Section”.) If you have received a defective item, we may request photographs of proof before providing a replacement. Replacements will be under the same style, size, and color (if available).


Important Note: We cannot accept any claims after 7 days of receiving your order for reports of missing or inaccurate styles, sizes, or colors.



Clearance and Super Clearance Information

Limited-Time Deals!


Our online store offers exciting deals on Clearance and Super Clearance items. Here's what you need to know:

 

Limited Availability: Clearance and Super Clearance items are available online in limited stock, and inventory levels are displayed at the time of purchase. Once these costumes are sold out, they will not be restocked!

Super Clearance: Super Clearance items are sold in their current condition and are not eligible for size exchanges.


CUSTOMIZING COSTUMES:


• We may be able to accommodate color adjustments to any style in our existing collection for an additional cost.

• Have your vision come to life, work one on one with our designers to create your own personal design.

• All custom changes are guaranteed to be exclusive for the current catalog dance year It was made for. Our season starts each year on July 1st and ends following year on June 30th.


• Custom orders will take approximately 14-16 weeks to ship.

• All Custom costumes and special size requests are NON-EXCHANGEABLE OR RETURNABLE.
